Ghant
A light-soaked world of vast, flat lakebed plains with shrinking freshwater seas that have retreated into polar ice caps over thousands of years. The remaining lakes are bordered by broad mudflats and dense mangrove forests, where most of the planet's settlements have flourished.
Across the ancient lakebeds, extensive tar seeps form a dangerous landscape traversed by networks of raised walkways, some maintained since antiquity and others built atop even older foundations. The widest walkways were controlled by the Road Kings during the Darkening of the Stars, and were adequately fortified with towers, trade posts, and statues of great leaders.
The tar pits themselves have preserved countless skeletons of animals alongside the remains of forgotten civilizations, which has made the world one of the inner Sinisi ring's most important archeological sites.
