A temperate ocean world teeming with life, made of large submerged plateaus covered in remarkably shallow water in most places. Immense underwater kelp forests grow near the colder poles, while spans of seagrass stretch across the horizon in equatorial plains. Many creatures call this planet home, including a variety of large and small reptilian, piscine, and arthropod species. Despite its typical shallow waters, the canyons between the plateaus harbor deep oceanic trenches that can be seen from space as dark veins snaking across the surface of the planet, where large armored arthropods scavenge for food.
